The School of Business and Trade currently offers three undergraduate programs: International Economics and Trade, Modern Logistics Management, and E-commerce, with nearly 2,000 enrolled students. The school employs 80 faculty members, including 64 full-time teachers, among whom 34 hold associate senior titles or higher, and 31 have doctoral degrees. The school has secured over 100 research projects at national, provincial, and municipal levels. Faculty members have received more than 30 prestigious honors, including the "333 Talent Project," "Qinglan Project Backbone Teacher," "Qinglan Project Mid-Career Academic Leader," "Six Talent Peaks," "National Huang Yanpei Teaching Master," "Jiangsu Teaching Master," "Jiangsu Technical Expert," Nanjing Mid-Career Top Talent, and provincial "Double Innovation" Doctorate awards.
With an international focus, the school has established long-term partnerships with over 10 universities in the United States,United Kingdom, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, andTaiwan,China. It has contributed to developingE-commerce andModernLogisticsManagementprograms at Cambodia’s Jianhua University of Applied Science and Technology, participated in the Ministry of Education’s inaugural"Chinese Workshop" initiative, and joined Jiangsu’s "Zhenghe College" project.
The school has achieved remarkable results since 2016, including two first prizes in the National Teaching Achievement Awards and two provincial grand prizes. In 2018, it was named a "National Model Institution for Cross-Border E-commerce Talent Development" by the National Vocational Education Steering Committee for Foreign Trade and Economics. Students have won over 30 top awards in national and provincial competitions. The school excels in innovation and entrepreneurship education, securing the highest honors for four consecutive years in the China-UK "Belt and Road" International Youth Innovation Competition, along with one gold medal in the China "Internet Plus" College Student Innovation Competition and two first prizes in the "Challenge Cup" National College Student Competition.
Emphasizing industry-academia collaboration, the school co-founded the "SOHO Industry College" with Jiangsu SOHO International Group and Jiangsu SOHO E-commerce. It has also partnered with leading enterprises including Jiangsu SUMEC Group, Focus Technology, SOHO Textile Group, SOHO Silk, Amazon, Shopee, Lazada, TikTok, Suning.com, and SF Express.
